Historical Background

Description of the Monument
The building has three floors. To the left of the entrance, there are two marble memorial plaques measuring 30 by 50 cm. The inscriptions are provided in Kazakh and Russian.
The Kazakh plaque reads: “Бұл үйде 1941 ж. ноябрь-декабрь айларында 101 дербес атқыштар бригадасы ұйымдастырылды.”
The Russian plaque reads: “В этом здании в ноябре-декабре 1941 г. формировалась 101 отдельная стрелковая бригада.”
The architectural appearance of the building and the memorial plaques show that this is not only an active educational institution, but also an important site preserving the wartime memory of Aktobe.
