The House of Culture of Metallurgists is one of Aktobe’s important architectural landmarks associated with the city’s industrial history. The building was constructed in 1947 according to a project developed by the Kharkiv Institute. In 1978 it was recognized as an architectural monument, and on 10 December 1986 it was officially placed under state protection and documented.

The building served as a major cultural and public center for the workers of the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant. During the Soviet industrial period, such houses of culture were not only venues for concerts and meetings, but also important spaces for education, creativity and community life.

Description:
The building has three storeys and was designed in a classical architectural style. Its plan resembles the letter “H”, with two symmetrical wings connected to the main block. The facade is faced with granite slabs, while the interior is decorated with ornamental elements. This architectural solution emphasizes the public importance of the building and makes it a distinctive part of Aktobe’s historical and cultural landscape.
